Virgos are known for their methodical and precise approach and they’re happy to share their knowledge with others. They can be cautious, which helps them sort out practical ideas from airy fairy ones, and they can be very analytical.About the CrystalsAmazonite – GreenAmazonite nurtures a love of nature, travelling, and the sea, granting independence, originality, and a collaborative spirit. It also helps promote new friendships.Jade – GreenThis stone holds honesty, stability, and wisdom. It opens the heart to creativity and feelings, harmonising the rational and emotional spheres.Amethyst – Purple / VioletAmethyst helps in overcoming shyness, consolidating relationships and freeing oneself from traumas and inferiority complexes. The wonderfully coloured amethyst, with its variety of shades of purple reminds us of the spiritual thread that runs through our life and can be used as a tool to aid spiritual awakening and intuition. Amethyst can bring a calming influence and therefore be of great help in times of change. It’s excellent to hold or have by you when you’re practicing meditation and when placed in a room it can help absorb negativity. Placed under the pillow it may help you sleep better.Yellow Calcite – YellowYellow calcite helps to modify negative attitudes, teaches how to appreciate money and overcome pessimism. The name calcite comes from the Greek word chalx, which means lime. Some calcite crystals take on an iridescent quality and calcite can be transparent, translucent or opaque. Other than quartz, calcite is one of the most widely found crystals in the world. It’s got a long history, and was even used on the throne in the Tomb of Tutankhamun. As a whole, the energy of calcite is healing and clearing and as such can be used a tool for work with clearing. In particular, it’s useful for chakra work, as it can help aid the chakra clearing process and open up the energy centres. It’s often referred as being a powerful energy amplifier and can be used for astral travel, channelling and meditation. Cleansing Your CrystalsDon’t forget to regularly charge and cleanse your crystals. Cleansing can be as simple as running the crystal under the cold tap while visualising the negativity being washed away. And a night on your windowsill in the moonlight (full moon is particularly effective) will give your crystal an energy boost. Sunlight works just as well, but some crystals may fade.
